Total energy consumption, performance year:
Clean and renewable electricity (report kilowatt-hours):
kWh | MMBtu | |
Imported electricity from certified/verified clean and renewable sources (i.e., bundled green power purchases) | 0 Kilowatt-hours | 0 MMBtu |
Electricity from on-site, clean and renewable sources (rights retained/retired) | 472 Kilowatt-hours | 1.61 MMBtu |
A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable electricity:
In electrical energy consumption, by 2021, 7,757 GJ were consumed, of which 472 were generated through the solar panel system. If we compare consumption between 2019 and 2021, a saving of 19.8% is observed.
A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:
In 2020, the solar panel system will be installed at IPS CES Sabaneta and at the central campus (Poblado headquarters). This system will generate approximately 323,900 kWh / year of 100% renewable energy. For the year 2020, the amount of energy generated was 183 GJ, in 2021 472 GJ have been generated
