Ecology is the science that studies the relationships between organisms and their environment. Consider the diversity, distribution and abundance of living things, in terms of interactions with biotic and abiotic elements. Seeks to understand the dynamics of ecosystems.
Our Ecology program is based on scientific, technical and humanistic training, related to the study, planning, research, management, conservation, advice, supervision and management of natural resources and the environmental conditions of ecosystems in order to contribute to the processes of social transformation.
The Ecology professionals of the CES University base their activity on the fundamentals of the Colombian Environmental Policy, within an interdisciplinary dynamic.

Biology is the science that studies life in all its dimensions: man, animals, plants and microorganisms. Analyzes its functional and structural principles, molecular composition, evolutionary history, genetic variability, reproduction and development, as well as the interrelationships between organisms and the environment that surrounds them, in order to establish hypotheses and laws that allow us to know, conserve and take advantage of natural resources.
Our biologists are professionals dedicated to the study of life, with high academic and scientific standards, sensitive, passionate about what they do, socially committed and knowledgeable about the basic and applied fundamentals of biology, with skills in different techniques and methodologies.

We train highly qualified and contextualized professionals in the food and nutritional reality of the world, the country and the region, capable of addressing problems related to the set of processes of human nutrition and food, within the framework of the nutrition and food system.
Our graduates are characterized by a strong scientific foundation and a high social and ethical sense to perform as leaders and active members of interdisciplinary teams in the fields of nutrition: health sector, food industry and market, research, public health and primary care. .
