A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
Unity contracted with a third-party agency to conduct an anonymous employee satisfaction survey in April 2017. 4 areas are assessed; Campus Culture & Policies, Work Environment, Institutional Goals, and Involvement in planning. Importance to an employee and then their satisfaction with it on campus is recorded.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
The survey has been presented to various interest groups across campus. Some of the areas we have addressed are: Staff Training; communication; pay; the institution has also incorporated areas that were addressed in our Professional Development training provided 4 times a year.
