Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Sustainability Portfolio Restructure

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
To accelerate institutionalization of sustainability decisions into the business process of the organization, the role of Sustainability Director was enhanced and elevated to Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). The CSO is the first among equals on a team of 8 other chief officers of the college, all of whom report equally to the President of the college. This Leadership in Abundance framework creates the conditions necessary for breaking down silos that often impede truly collaborative leadership. The work units of Dining Services, Events, and McKay Farm were centralized into the sustainability portfolio. This strategic restructure ensures that the sustainability mission is embedded in these campus services and programs. It also provides synergy among these functions as the sustainability team effectively grew to 25 employees.

Which of the following impact areas does the innovation most closely relate to? (select up to three):
Campus Engagement

The article above mentions winning a sustainability award but the actual article details how there were many opportunities created by moving dining under the umbrella of sustainability. It doesn't cover all of the restructure, but shines light on how the restructure let us win an award and streamline sustainable operations.
