All students must complete the "Environmental Citizen" core of classes which deals with various environmental and sustainability issues and how they relate to the students. Our Environmental Citizen Learning Outcomes include three primary components, or spheres: Individual, Community, & Environment The first learning outcome centers on the individual. After completing our Environmental Citizen Curriculum, students will become resourceful individuals—displaying integrity, effective communication and reasoning skills, and a dedication to sustainability and learning. The second learning outcome branches out from the individual to the community. It focuses on the transformation of students into engaged citizens and leaders who welcome diversity, work well with others, respect tradition and differing points of view, and help encourage a productive, communal way of life.
