A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:
Unity's president, sustainability coordinator, faculty, and senior administrators are active sustainability leaders in the higher education community, presenting widely on topics of sustainability to peers and membership organizations around the country.
In recent years, Unity College has hosted the statewide Sustainability Training Institute, the Maine Student Climate Summit, and organized multiple campuses for a joint trip to the national Power Shift conference in DC. In 2010, then-president Mitchell Thomashow presented at the national AASHE conference, the ACUPCC Climate Leadership Summit, the New England Board of Higher Education, and many others.
All of our sustainability planning efforts are made public through websites (e.g., http://sustainabilitymonitor.wordpress.com), videos, and numerous publications.
Unity recently contributed to AASHE's STARS webinar series on integrating STARS into the curriculum (https://stars.aashe.org/pages/news-events/stars-webinars/2011-stars-webinars.html#curricula)
