UMass Student Garden was created in July 2019 to promote "food as medicine" on campus. The garden consists of 6 raised beds, three dedicated to vegetables and one demonstration medicinal herb garden. The garden was expanded in the Fall of 2022 to include 7 blueberry bushes.

The annual Earth Day event is targeted towards the students, faculty, and staff of the Medical School and University Campus Hospital. For Earth Month of 2023, the Office of Sustainability hosted a clean energy webinar series for attendees to learn about the pathways to decarbonization on our campus. In addition, Earth Month featured a Bee Campus interest meeting, a Green Labs Summit, an electronics recycling event, and other programming for Earth Month.
