Research Inventory
Inventory of the institution’s sustainability research:
Total number of academic departments (or the equivalent) that include at least one faculty or staff member that conducts research, includes not only the 35 academic departments that conduct research within our three colleges, but also an additional 17 Centers, Institutes and other organizational entities at UMass Chan that also conduct research. These Centers, Institutes, and other entities generally have been included in the research inventory as the represent significant contribution to UMass Chan research community.

In order to determine if research fit the criteria for sustainability research, descriptions of each of the research topics were evaluated to determine if they would contribute to meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals or the Earth Charter Principles.
