Our Vendor Diversity Initiative was established to develop procurement opportunities at the University of Massachusetts Medical School for small, disadvantaged and minority-owned businesses. It is the goal of UMMS to provide all businesses with the maximum number of feasible opportunities to participate in procurement. UMMS is committed to developing and sustaining relationships with a diverse group of suppliers. This includes certified small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, minority-owned small businesses, women-owned small businesses, hubzone small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
