Sustainability, Urbanism and Real Estate Development are intertwined, cities are our most sustainable resource, and they hold the key to our social, economic, and culturally equitable future, as well as our planet’s environmental protection. The skill sets to develop sustainable real estate development projects in this evolving urban marketplace must employ strategies for engaging the interplay of economic, community and environmental concerns, in order to be truly successful. With this distinctive MSRED Program, the Tulane School of Architecture is focused on a diverse range of innovative business and design opportunities with an emphasis on “regenerative” Real Estate Development in our cities.

A brief description of the graduate degree program (3rd program):
Assessing and controlling environmental factors is pivotal to protecting health and preventing disease. The mission of the Department of Global Environmental Health Sciences is focused on research, teaching, and service to characterize, manage, reduce, and communicate hazards and risks posed by the environment to populations globally, especially those most vulnerable. The department's overarching focus areas encompass factors influencing water and air quality, and disaster management impact on health. Health endpoints of specific interest are: cancer, respiratory disease including asthma, gastro-intestinal disorders, workplace health, and adverse reproductive health. The department offers three master's degrees: the MPH in disaster management; the MSPH in global environmental health sciences; and the MSPH in industrial hygiene (also accredited by the Applied Science Accreditation Committee (ASAC) of the ABET). In addition, combined degrees offered by the department are the BS/MSPH, MD/MPH, JD/MPH, and MSW/MPH. The department also offers the PhD in global environmental health sciences.
