A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:
We use quantitative and qualitative data from the HEDS survey to understand how student, faculty, and staff perceptions of the campus climate. The most recent full set of findings are for the spring 2021 semester. In the quantitative data, we extrapolated five areas of strengths (disaggregated by different groups) and four areas for continued focus and attention (disaggregated by different groups). The qualitative data also identified useful information for understanding our strengths and areas for improvement. Based on these findings, we identified four areas of focus for improving the campus climate with specific action items (including programming, implementing/updating policies, creating initiatives) submitted from offices/departments across the campus. We are waiting on the full set of 2023 results and will follow this process for responding to those findings.

Are the results of the most recent structured diversity and equity assessment shared with the campus community?:
Yes

A brief description of how the assessment results are shared with the campus community:
We have held town hall/campus forum to share the results. We have also shared the results tailored to different groups (e.g., new faculty to help them understand the campus climate and consider how they can support efforts to strengthen the climate and experiences of students in the classroom). We have also publicly posted the results at: https://www.trincoll.edu/campus-climate/
