Certified Floor Area
LEED O+M Platinum or the highest achievable level under another GBC rating system 0 Square feet
LEED O+M Gold or the 2nd highest level under another 4- or 5-tier GBC rating system 0 Square feet
Certified at mid-level under a 3- or 5-tier GBC rating system (e.g. BREEAM-In Use, CASBEE for Existing Buildings, DGNB, Green Star Performance) 0 Square feet

Green Cleaning

Of the institution's uncertified building space, what percentage of floor area is maintained in accordance with a published green cleaning policy, program or contract ? (0-100):
100

A copy or the green cleaning policy:
---

A brief description of how green cleaning is incorporated into cleaning contracts:
Aramark, Trinity's facilities management company oversees housekeeping, maintenance, and grounds services. They clean 100% of our uncertified building space following their Blue Cleaning Program. ARAMARK’s “Blue Cleaning” program employs multiple technologies, which apply a low-level electrical charge to tap water, transforming it into an electrically activated water (EAW) cleaning solution that breaks apart and lifts dirt from surfaces like a magnet. Hard surfaces can then be wiped clean quickly, without leaving a surface residue like chemical-based agents.

Energy Management and Benchmarking

Of the institution's uncertified building space, what percentage of floor area is maintained in accordance with an energy management or benchmarking program? (0-100):
99.50

A brief description of the energy management or benchmarking program:
Trinity College's facilities management company was asked to hire a full time energy manager. The energy manager was hired to lead a three year program with the goals of delivering a 10% energy savings on a yearly basis and work to optimize building automation systems (BAS). Metrix4, a utility accounting system, was used by the energy manager to normalize data, for bench-marking, to determine changes in energy use patterns, and to track progress toward savings targets. Trinity College also has a contract with Bridge Energy, LLC. Their consultants help us with energy procurement, utility budgeting, and risk management. We receive an annual report detailing energy consumption and the type of energy sourced. We will use the data collected as part of future Greenhouse Gas inventories.
