All Academic, Administrative and Residential facilities, and where Building Automation Systems are incorporated into facility design, are operated within the confines of the Campus Energy Policy for seasonal temperature set-points and hours of operation.
Athletic Facilities, Fine Arts, Laboratory and IT Server Rooms fall outside of this guideline due to the classification of special needs facilities.

A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with sustainable building operation and maintenance guidelines and policies:
The Physical Plant Department, as collaborators in writing and implementing the Campus Energy Policy, oversees Building Automation System operation and verify's on a regular basis that all facilities governed by the policy are in compliance. In addition, it is also encouraged that all faculty, staff and students act as stewardfs of the policy and police themselves and each other.
