The Office of Sustainability funded professional development by sending professors to the AASHE conference in 2014.
The Office of Sustainability hosted a retreat in the summer of 2013 for faculty to further their understanding of what sustainability is, to discuss integrating sustainable learning components into the curriculum, and to connect the curricular components to the co-curricular and operational characteristics of the university with respect to sustainability.
The Office of Sustainability hosted a weeklong sustainability workshop on campus to further faculty members' understanding of what sustainability is, to discuss integrating sustainable learning components into the curriculum, and to connect the curricular components to the co-curricular components to the local community with respect to sustainability.
