Has the institution developed a bicycle plan?:
A brief description of the plan:
Racks are located near most buildings on campus so they can be locked up. A new bike shelter and community bike repair shop were opened last year. This fall, new bikes were purchased, and the bike shop was moved to a bigger and better location. The proposal for the bike shop that was adopted this fall includes increased funding to support covered bike parking, more bikes, bike programming and other activities to encourage bike use. We are working with the city to increase the bike paths near campus. Our campus plan is still in draft form but it includes many features to encourage biking and walking, including the elimination of parking in the central areas of campus.
