A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:
The University has provided child care on site from what used to be known of as the Student Day Care Center, and is now known as University Child Care, since 1972. The University has subsidized the Center’s operation since the outset, and continues to do so for all families, but makes a special gesture to University Students through both its Placement Policy and its Fee Scale. (University Students are given first priority wherever possible, and University Students pay the lowest tuition for their children.)
