Does the institution use xeriscape landscaping techniques, including the selection of drought tolerant plants?:
A brief description of the program or practice:
This type of landscaping/gardening has been a practice at TU for over 30 years. Whenever we decide to do a landscape planting, our first thoughts are on plants that are hardy and drought, insect and disease tolerant. We will continue this practice and will always be searching for plants that are low maintenance.
