OP-T2-19: Native Plants
|0.25 / 0.25||
Does the institution prioritize the use of native plant species in landscaping?:
A brief description of the native plant program, policy, or practice:
We have been using native plants on campus more and more and in particular over this past year. We use them wherever we can depending on the location of the landscape planting and how they can be worked into the landscape color scheme. Been working with Dr. Hall “Professor Emeritus” from TU on introducing natives to the Glen Woods as well.
No written policy or website on this. Just a practice I (Paul Thomas) have been working on for awhile.
