A brief description of the institution’s program(s) to encourage student research in sustainability:
All Environmental Science and Studies students are required to complete a capstone/applications course. ENVS 482, Environmental Research, is one option to complete that academic requirement. Students can become engaged in environmental research several different ways. A student can work on a project as part of a Towson environmental faculty member's research group. You need to work with the faculty member and the program director to determine whether this option will work for you. Students can also get involved in environmental research at sites off campus.
