A Sustainability Action Plan Survey was administered to the entire campus end of January 2021. About ⅓ of the survey questions were related to sustainability culture on campus. A formal sustainability cultural assessment was developed in August 2023 and was adopted at the beginning of the fall 2023 semester to students and employees.

The cultural assessment, along with the literacy assessment, was administered as a student survey in September 2023, during orientation week. The students who completed the survey received a succulent and had the opportunity to join a raffle with a chance to win a $150 presto card.
