Climate Leaders Training

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Ryerson Leadership Lab offers a Climate Leaders training program tailored to new change-makers on climate science, policy, communications and action. There is no cost to participate in the training and all participants will receive a certificate of completion. All are welcome! More training opportunities will be available in spring/summer 2020. The Ryerson Leadership Lab has partnered with Youth Challenge International to develop this program and has already trained a diverse group of 100 new leaders. These leaders are working in teams on projects that address a local climate priority (see below). Participants have the opportunity to access funding, training and expert support to fuel their success. The trained leaders also are supported to lead at least one in-person engagement and create between unique digital content that help deliver effective climate change messages to new audiences.
