All the buildings that have gone through the Continuous Optimization Program are maintained/operated in accordance with the following guidelines: http://www.tru.ca/__shared/assets/Sustainable_Building_Operation_and_Maintenance_Guideline33420.pdf.
The buildings in the program include: Arts and Education, International Building, Campus Activity Centre, Trades and Technology, Science, and BC Centre for Open Learning.

After the building re-commissioning process takes place, training and follow-up coaching sessions are conducted, and building energy data is monitored by the energy management team through the Energy Management Information System in order to ensure these buildings are operated and maintained efficiently.

TRU's Old Main building will go through the investigation phase of the Continuous Optimization Program in early/mid 2015.
Since TRU is a British Columbia public institution, all new building construction that takes place on campus must comply with being a LEED Gold certified building, as set out in the policies shown in the URL here: http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/cas/pdfs/climate_action_21st_century.pdf)
