TRU’s Office of Environment & Sustainability has provided two methods to facilitate this process: 1) ad hoc funding for faculty members to attend sustainability-training workshops in an attempt to stimulate the incorporation of sustainability topics in new and existing courses, and 2), as of the 2013-2014 school year, an opportunity for any faculty member to apply to the TRU Sustainability Grant Fund for the purposes of receiving funds for any purposes related to the development of sustainability-related courses.

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
1). Faculty members were funded and sent to training workshops.
2). The Sustainability Grant Fund offers an opportunity for any faculty member to submit a proposal in order to access up to $100,000 every school year for any project that "advances sustainability at TRU".
