A brief description of the policies and/or programs:
Thompson Rivers University stresses the use of video conferencing in order to reduce air travel in order to reduce costs and limit emissions. There are multiple meeting rooms on campus set up for video conferencing between TRU and other campuses and partners worldwide. Information Technology Services provides training and support for the use of video conferencing rooms. They are also used for the delivery of distance programs, student orientation, and interviews.
