A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
TRU Environment & Sustainability has had booths at new student orientation events. The purpose of these booths is to increase interest in environmental sustainability both on and off campus. In addition, it allows students to share their thoughts on the subject. Material available at the booth introduces students to TRU’s efforts to increase environmental sustainability on campus, as well as what students can do to help. Sustainability is also promoted in other areas with the distribution of water bottles, reusable shopping and laundry bags.
