Working with the goBeyond campus climate network students in the TRU residences take part in a competition with other institutions across BC to reduce energy consumption. The most recent of competition took place between March 7 and March 26th, 2011.

Impacts of the campaign are measured via kWh used, and all competing schools are ranked according to the top energy reduction. The most recent competition ranked TRU’s residency hall as 7th with a 1.3% reduction in energy use.
