Narrative outlining the data collection process used in the preparation of this report:
The newly created UNM Office of Sustainability led the data collection effort. Core personnel met with and/or emailed the relevant entities across the university to gather the institutional and other data. The data were kept in a master tracking worksheet on a shared drive and reviewed internally by relevant UNM units and the Office of Sustainability team. Ultimately, once reviewed and verified, the data was input into the STARS online reporting tool.

Each data point was collected by one person and reviewed by two additional people on the Office of Sustainability STARS team. Data was either provided by or verified by the relevant UNM unit it pertained to. Sections were sent for review to the relevant Vice President. The Office of Sustainability Graduate Research Assistant also provided a complete review.
