Optional documentation
UNM sources the majority of its water from its own wells and has its own water distribution system managed through campus Utility Services. Only 10% of water in the Main Campus area is sourced from the City of Albuquerque's water utility, Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA).
Fiscal Year 2021-2022 was used for water data because it had the most complete dataset for water without data inconsistencies. The student, staff, and square footage numbers reflect 2022 numbers for this credit.
