The imported electricity from verified renewable sources total is composed of 61,422,684 kWh as part of an agreement with AEP which offsets a portion of Ohio State's utility usage, the remaining 89,948,743 kWh is aquired via a power purchase agreement for 50 MW of capacity. Ohio State has a 20-year agreement that enables the purchase of carbon free energy.
