Yes. A bi-weekly e-newsletter containing information on university sustainability research, education, outreach and campus operations news is sent to university faculty, staff and students. In addition, a quarterly e-newsletter covering sustainability topics is sent to external recipients. Finally, numerous university social media channels feature sustainability information throughout the year, including @ohiostsustain on Twitter and Instagram. A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Yes. All LEED certified buildings have signage highlighting the certification level and some sustainable features. In addition, the university has installed outdoor signage highlighting prominent sustainability projects instituted by the university including a solar array, geothermal field, zero waste efforts, river restoration, and energy efficiency. These signs serve as informational and teaching opportunities for the Ohio State community as well as to visitors to campus.

Yes. The university maintains a detailed map of sustainability sites and research activities on its campus and, in some cases, in communities where it works. The map is searchable and organized by designated icons for each type of site. The map is updated at least annually, and available here: https://si.osu.edu/sustainability-action-map

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
Yes. In conjunction with a new campus sustainable building design and construction policy, the university launched a companion campus user guide providing education and resources to help university stakeholders, including students, achieve the university’s sustainability goals.
