Green Columbus Earth Day
As a featured sponsor of Green Columbus, Earth Day 2011, The Ohio State University aided in
the coordination of the largest volunteer effort for Earth Day anywhere in the world. Volunteers
from central Ohio and Ohio State created a more sustainable region by planting trees, installing
rain gardens, restoring local ecosystems, and creating or reviving community food gardens.
