In addition to collaboration with The Ohio State University Columbus campus, The Ohio State University at Newark is part of the four-campus Ohio State University regional campus cluster that includes The Ohio State University at Lima, The Ohio State University at Mansfield, and Ohio State University at Marion.

The Ohio State University at Newark functions under a well-established working relationship and cost-shared structure with Central Ohio Technical College. Ohio State Newark works closely with Ohio State University's Facilities Operations and Development Office of Energy Services and Sustainability (Columbus campus) for gaining knowledge and implementing best practices. In addition, Ohio State Newark is part of the four-campus Ohio State University regional campus cluster and practices comparable sustainable policies and strategies.
