A brief description of the sustainable investment policy:
The Investment Office of The Ohio State University coordinates investments for all all university campuses (e.g. The Ohio State University at Newark). The recently approved university investment policy states:
“The Chief Investment Officer will make best efforts to implement this policy in a socially and environmentally responsible manner”.
“… Natural Resources and Infrastructure have a heavy interconnection. They revolve around the exploration, development, generation and transmission of oil & natural gas, power and water. We continue to believe that there are exceptional opportunities where we can be investors in this area which will benefit the University and do it in a responsible and ethical manner.”
