The Office of Human Resources for the Newark Campus (The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College) has an extensive New Hire Orientation checklist. The checklist includes a variety of topics, including recycling practices.

Per the New Hire Orientation checklist (attached), employees are encouraged to view the OSU Ergonomics video for the proper work station setup for the employee. YP4H Program – encouragement to participate in health-related activities including lunch-learn workshops, health screenings, smoking cessation, weight loss, stress management programs, explained as part of the available health benefits information OSU employees – encouraged to enroll online for eligible benefits (not available to COTC employees) and other online options at the employee self-serve website. COTC/OSU Newark employees are encouraged to view benefit and provider information online rather than printing complete plan details with website information provided in the new hire packet.
