Several programs include:
Ebonye Horizons-African American student organization, DIRECTIONS-gay, lesbian and straight alliance student organization, CONNECTIONS (LGBTQ program), Ohio State Newark Retention Coordinator, fresh IMAGE (1st Year Experience for African American students) and IMANI Scholars; In support of all students, two personal counselors, tutoring, writing lab, math lab and learning skills counselor, and Ohio State Newark learning community. Various programs throughout the year: Multi-Cultural Student Leadership, Cultural Mixer, Museum Trips, Black Heritage Dinner & Entertainment, Women’s Awareness (Coffee, Tea & Chocolate) and MLK Commemoration
