A brief description of how multiple stakeholder groups were involved in developing the plan:

The strategies associated with achieving goals were led by the Facilities Department with significant input from the offices of Business and Finance, the OSU Dean/Director, COTC President as well as other stakeholders.


A brief description of the plan’s measurable goals :

The campus developed a comprehensive 15-year energy conservation and sustainability initiative in 2008. Starting with the baseline year of 2004, the primary goal was to reduce total energy consumption (kbtu/SF) by 20% by 2014. Through strategies outlined in the plan, the campus was able to exceed the 20% goal ahead of schedule.


A brief description of how progress in meeting the plan’s goals is measured:

Energy consumption is tracked and documented through Portfolio Manager, a software package (an Energy Star program).
