The Newark Campus (The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College) uses single-stream recycling. The waste collection service is provided by Rumpke (Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc). The waste collection billing agreement does not include maintaining weight records. The waste collection process does include separate collection bins for waste and recyclables. The current collection agreement includes six 8-yard (8yd) front-load pickups per week for trash and one six-yard (6yd) front-load pick up per week of single-stream recyclable material (i.e., containers, paper, cardboard, etc.).
