The Marion campus has a small wind generator and a series of batteries that store electrical energy to power lighting for a 50-foot pedestrian bridge at night from the Health Technologies Center to Parking Lot #6. The wind generator and small building where the batteries are stored was constructed in the summer of 2010. The power that is generated is not metered.
