A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
Ohio State offers many personal and professional development opportunities to its staff. Ohio State sees sustainability holistically and understands the value of a healthy environment and workplace. Development opportunities range from personal health incentives to free tuition for classes at the university. These activities not only build a more sustainable campus but also provide sustainability education opportunities to employees through the periodic integration of sustainability lessons.
Ohio State Marion staff are encouraged to take responsibility for their own professional development at The Ohio State University. There are different opportunities for learning such as self-directed and face-to-face. In addition the University provides 100% tuition assistance for all eligible staff.
