A brief description of how the institution ensures that its lowest-paid workers (including contractors, if applicable) receive sustainable compensation:
The Ohio State University has policies in place to ensure all our employees are paid at least the minimum of the established pay range for their position. All pay ranges are above the state minimum wage (currently $7.70), which is higher than the federal minimum wage (currently $7.25). Our compensation philosophy is to pay ‘at market’. We ensure all positions follow policies and guidelines set up for this.
