Ohio State Marion is not officially recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree Campus USA program. However, the campus does actively pursue multiple tree-friendly practices around campus.

The campus celebrates Earth Day each year and this year a tree was planted in the flagpole area. Through the Joint Operating Agreement with our co-located Technical College (MTC) all rental funds from the farmer go in the campus landscaping account, in which an additional 2 to 3 trees are purchased and added on campus each year.
