A brief description of the assessment(s):
The university is in the process of integrating assessment of diversity and inclusion in the university strategic planning process. Previously, there was a separate, annual Diversity Action Plan reporting process. In the current process, each reporting unit submits a strategic plan and a set of strategic indicators measuring progress. The plans and scorecards are reviewed annually by key stakeholder groups, including the Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion and the Faculty Senate Diversity Committee.

Reviewer feedback is provided to the Provost for use in annual performance reviews. The diversity and inclusion review team will follow up with individual reporting units to assist in implementing recommendations, developing new programs or enhancing current efforts, as needed.

Ohio State Mansfield (and all Ohio State regional campuses) works with the main campus Diversity Council to support university-wide initiatives. The Diversity Action Plan includes the regional campuses; they all submitted Strategic Action Plan reports that included a section on diversity.
