Administration from the OSU Mansfield, co-located North Central State College, OSU Columbus Environmental Service & Sustainability Office and private partner Siemens Building Technology.

A brief description of the plan’s measurable goals :
The primary goal was to meet State of Ohio HB251 energy efficiency requirements enacted in January 2007 mandating a 20% Improvement in (EUI) Energy Use Index (btu/sf/yr) by 2014 (from 2004 baseline). Siemens Buildings Technology completed an energy audit in 2009 identifying projects and practices with potential energy benchmarked savings of 28.5% with paybacks of <7 years.

EUI data through CY-2012 using local metering and Portfolio Manager indicates a realistic overall 8%-10% reduction by 2014.

Year the strategic plan or equivalent was completed or adopted: The Ohio State University Mansfield Energy Management Plan was approved by the local Board of Trustees in December 2008 and updates provided annual each December to the Board.
