Does the institution limit free printing for students in all computer labs and libraries?:
Yes

A brief description of how printing is limited:

Starting in the Fall Quarter 2011 Ohio State Mansfield will implement printing fees.

What is the new charge?
7¢ per page b/w and 10¢ per scanning of document (library only)

How can I pay for printing?
All printing can be paid for by using your BuckID.

Don’t have a BuckID?
Students, faculty and staff need to go to the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) to get their campus BuckID.
Visitors can purchase an OSU guest printing card at the reference desk in the library located on the first floor of Bromfield Hall or in the Student Union on the second floor of Eisenhower Memorial Center.

Students from NCSC may use their NCSC ID in place of the BuckID. For more information call 419-755-4040

Why is OSU-Mansfield instituting Pay-to-Print?
The printing fee has been implemented to recover the escalating cost of printing.
Paying to print is consistent with other public computing facilities within the university.

Where on campus will Pay-to-Print been implemented?
Ovalwood Hall: OV-37, OV-114, OV-120, OV-131, OV-135, OV-136 and OV-458 Bromfield Hall: BF-110 and BF-139 Conard Hall: BFC-100, BFC-205 and BFC-209 Eisenhower Hall: EI-214 Riedl Hall: RL-125. Wireless printing prints to all of the above areas.

Notes: In addition, high volume printing (i.e. greater than 50 pages) by faculty and staff is handled at a central campus location to optimize printing efficiency.
