A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the inventory:
The Ohio State University Office of Energy and Environment (OEE) generates a list of researchers exploring topics within the office’s areas of concern. College research officers work with OEE staff to find all applicable researchers with the aid of a list of keywords that are cross-referenced with research profiles. The list is frequently compared with lists of researchers by subject area and faculty members that have left the university as assembled by colleges and departments. Applicable research centers’ faculty lists are a major on-going source of information.
