Welcome to Student Research!
One of the advantages of attending the Mansfield campus of The Ohio State University is that you can work closely with professors on various research projects. Most faculty members are engaged in some sort of research or scholarship. Faculty in a variety of disciplines are often looking for research assistants and they are also open to students conducting their own research or investigations under supervision.

There are approximately 35 “nature” signs of plants, trees and wildlife scattered around the 640 acres-wooded campus. The signs are along regularly traveled walkways. In addition, these walkways and signs are used by biology classes.

We have one new sign identifying the wetlands. We also had a consultant develop an identification and detailed interpretive sign system for the wetlands. Currently have a proposal before a donor to cover the $50K cost to provide it

The Mansfield Campus uses recycling-stream specific containers. The signage and handling for the cardboard-type material is provided free to the campus from the local Milliron Waste & Recycling.
