A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:

At Keese Hall, there is a retention pond. The downspouts from the building empty into the retention pond as runoff abatement to utilize the retention pond as a form of a nutrient sink. This comprehensive approach to rainwater management allows for a more sustainable approach to development of lands that increase the amount of impervious surfaces while adhering to an awareness of environmental sustainability.
