A brief description of how the institution ensures that its lowest-paid workers (including contractors, if applicable) receive sustainable compensation:
The Ohio State University has policies in place to ensure all employees are paid at least the minimum of the established pay range for their position. All pay ranges are typically above the state minimum wage and federal minimum wage. Our compensation philosophy is to pay ‘at market’. We ensure all positions follow policies and guidelines set up for this. Our pay ranges are updated annually as necessary to movement of the market.
