A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Ohio State University offers culture retreats across the institution, mostly to intact teams at the introductory level, while others are more targeted. The university Office of Human Resources, Office of Academic Affairs, has reassessed our needs in this area and are expanding our engagement and outreach to include new employee orientation, health and wellness, employee benefits and leadership training and coaching to name a few.
The Ohio State regional campuses incorporate additional training and activities as deemed appropriate for each site.
