A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
Occupational Health and Safety Division promotes health and safety procedures and assists the university community in identifying, evaluating and eliminating occupational and workplace hazards that can cause illnesses or injuries.
Occupational Health and Safety provides online and classroom training sessions for compliance with established federal, state and local regulations and university health and safety policies. Industrial hygiene services provided by Occupational Health and Safety include indoor air quality investigation (unusual odors, mold, moisture, ventilation), ergonomic workstation evaluations, indoor lighting assessments, mercury spill cleanups, water sampling and thermal (heat and cold) stress evaluations.
